Futurology: The Black Country 2024 is an art project in which artists and young people team up to examine the current social, economic and political conditions in the Black Country in order to imagine their future.
The project is a forum for discussing the role of art in supporting a sense of possibility within social and political thinking. Futurology attempts to offer a critical space to look at the potential for art’s autonomy as a site in which to engage with social issues.
