Migrations

Internationally renowned photographer Sebastiao Salgado undertook an epic project to document massive migration throughout the world. Photographs have been taken in over 35 countries. Salgado recorded some of the hundreds of millions of people, who, in an elemental struggle for survival, have broken thier ties with land and tradition in a flight towards other destinies. Salgado’s powerful work enhances our understanding of a changing globel order and the implications of a world in transition. A publication accompanied this exhibition.
