Saturday 21st March
This session explores the nature of portraiture and how to capture the essence of a real person. Looking at different styles of painting, particularly photorealism and expressionism we will be encouraging you to experiment with these different techniques in oils or acrylic. There will be a life model to work from, oils or acrylics and a small canvas for you. The works we will particularly look at are Lucien Freud, Portrait of Kitty and Andrew Tift, Kitty (Transition).
Each session runs from 10.30am to 1.30pm and is £15 or you can book all four sessions for £50 limited places. To book please phone the gallery reception on 01922 654400, or pop in and see us.
