Light up your day and join us for an entertaining, exciting and family friendly Diwali celebration with a twist! This year we bring you:

 

Eklavya, from the Hindu epic Mahabharat, will entertain you with drama, music and dance

 

Garbha and Dandia performances and a chance to have a go at this ancient dance.  Just bring your own Dandia sticks

 

Professional Bollywood, Bhangra and Kerala dance performances

 

Special screening of the classic film Sholay

 

Mask making workshops, telling the story of Diwali

 

Mendhi hand patterns

 

Free traditional Indian food courtesy of Five Rivers event caterers

If you are an individual or a group that enjoys performing South Asian dances, you are welcome to perform and compete for a special prize as part of this year’s event!
