Tate Movie Project and Fanzine Frenzie

The Tate Movie Project is the first of its kind – an animated film made by and for children.

The same day you can make your own fanzine inspired by the Home of Metal Season and Mark Titchner’s BE TRUE TO YOUR OBLIVION with artist Bunny Bissoux.

Over the last year Tate, CBBC and Aardman Animations (the makers of
Wallace & Gromit) have been collaborating on this uniquely ambitious
project, calling out for children across the UK to get drawing and
thinking of fantastic ideas for the film. Kids were invited to take part
by attending animation workshops in a nationwide roadshow, and by
submitting their artwork via the Tate Movie Project’s interactive
website.

Tate Movie Project presents The Itch of the Golden Nit – a half-hour
film showcasing the artwork of thousands of children, and featuring the
voice talent of David Walliams, Miranda Hart, Harry Enfield and
Catherine Tate. A special screening for The New Art Gallery Walsall.

Free, special screenings throughout the day at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm. Running time 30min.
