Exhibiting artist and renowned printmaker Marc Balakjian will run a two-day course teaching mezzotint techniques. There will be a talk and demonstration followed by the opportunity for participants to work with a small copper plate to create their own mezzotint print.

The New Art Gallery Walsall is proud to present together for the first time in a public institution the work of artists and printmakers Dorothea Wight and Marc Balakjian. The couple have won international print prizes for their work, and are particularly renowned for their skill in the medium of mezzotint.
