Walsall and the Black Country celebrate two years until the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics with a fun-packed weekend for all to enjoy!

Medal Making Workshop

Sun 25 July

This workshop for people of all ages, will give you a hands-on experience of making medals using modelling clay. The modelled clay medals will then be cast into plaster and can be taken home, perhaps to be awarded, or given, to someone who you think deserves them the most!

Canal Boat Painting Workshop

Sat 24 and Sun 25 July

Beccy Roberts, waterways artist, will host a boat painting workshop and invite visitors to fold their own origami boat and learn how to paint the traditional roses seen on all narrow boats. A plan of the canal network will also be available to engage visitors in finding out more about the canal networks and discovering places.

All above events are free, no need to book, just turn up on the weekend!
