Walsall and the Black Country celebrate two years until the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics with a fun-packed weekend for all to enjoy!


 

Self Portrait Photography Booth

Sat 24 July

 

Put yourself into the frame, pose with your friends and family and take your own photo using our unique self-portrait photo booth that engages and involves people in creating powerful and enjoyable photographs of themselves. Each participant will also get a free print of their photograph.

 

Canal Boat Painting Workshop

Sat 24 and Sun 25 July

 

Beccy Roberts, waterways artist, will host a boat painting workshop and invite visitors to fold their own origami boat and learn how to paint the traditional roses seen on all narrow boats. A plan of the canal network will also be available to engage visitors in finding out more about the canal networks and discovering places. 

 

In partnership with Wolverhampton Art Gallery and Bantock House Museum.
