This short course looks at the development of sculpture from the historical collection and groundbreaking figurative work on the Rodin in the nineteenth century at the Barber Institute, through to work made by Jacob Epstein in the twentieth century at The New Art Gallery Walsall. At Wolverhampton Art Gallery we will look at developments in sculpture from the 1950s to the 1980s, before culminating in an in-depth look at the contemporary sculptural installations by Michel Francois at Ikon Gallery.
