For the fifth year in a row, we bring you another ground shaking, feet tapping, family friendly free for all Vaisakhi day, packed with live music and dance performances, such as Bhangra and Gidha, family workshops, mendhi hand patterns and much more.

Following last year’s huge success, join us for another fun, free event to celebrate the birth of the Sikh religion and India’s harvest time, Vaisakhi.


The day is packed with things to do and see, for all the family, and includes:


Live music and dance performances of Bhangra and Gidha (North Indian male and female dances)


Gatka (Sikh Martial Arts)


Dhol drumming workshops and performances by pupils from Hillary Primary and Park Hall Primary


Family friendly workshops creating your own Golden Temple (Harmandir

Sahib, Amritsar)


Mendhi hand patterns
