Outside In: West Midlands Hub Manager

Outside In is recruiting for the role of West Midlands Hub Manager. Working with the Artist Development team, the West Midlands Hub Manager will lead the delivery of Outside In’s Artist Development Programme in the region, creating and managing activities and recruiting local freelancers, artist Ambassadors, and an Artist Advisory Group to support and promote the programme.

The West Midlands Hub, based at The New Art Gallery Walsall, formally launched in 2023 and has delivered residencies and artist-led activities. The upcoming 2025 Outside In National Exhibition, ‘Shelter’, will be held at the Gallery and will be a major focus for 2025.

We consider proposals and applications from artists who may want to exhibit their work at the Gallery or who may be interested in the Studio programme. At present, due to our team’s small capacity, we are currently unable to respond to proposals, unless we would like to pursue the project, residency or exhibition further.
