Security Coordinator – Ref: EE10425

The New Art Gallery Walsall

(Full-time / Permanent / 37 hours per week)

Salary – Grade 5: £28,598 – £31,022

We are looking to appoint a conscientious, resourceful, hands-on, and dedicated Security Coordinator to help deliver the security operations of the venue, and to ensure the care, safety and security of our visitors, building, and exhibits.

Please note that this role requires routine weekend working as standard, additional evening work to support events as required, and responding to emergency call outs out-of-hours on a rota basis. It will be expected that you have the capability to respond efficiently to any out-of-hours emergencies.

Exhibitions & residency proposals

We consider proposals and applications from artists who may want to exhibit their work at the Gallery or who may be interested in the Studio programme. At present, due to our team’s small capacity, we are currently unable to respond to proposals, unless we would like to pursue the project, residency or exhibition further.
