Join Gallery Assistant Julie Jones for a talk focusing on the work of British-American sculptor Jacob Epstein (1880-1959).

Explore ‘Study for Rock Drill’, 1915 and ‘Study for the Tomb of Oscar Wilde’, 1909. Learn how these two drawings would later lead to the creation of two of Epstein’s most famous sculptures and how the idea behind these works would influence the next generation of sculptors such as Barbara Hepworth and Elizabeth Frink.
