Adam Reynolds Memorial Bursary
Caglar Kimyoncu

The New Art Gallery Walsall is delighted to be hosting the 2015-16 Adam Reynolds Memorial Bursary, an annual residency established by disability-led arts organisation, Shape, to support mid-career disabled artists to develop their practice and profile.

This year’s recipient, digital and video artist Caglar Kimyoncu, will use the bursary to extend his research into the issue of the militarisation of youth and provide a space for those voices he identifies to be excluded or marginalised in society. His residency is informed by his perspective as a disabled person and background as the son of a professional soldier.
