Layla Curtis
In October 2005 Layla Curtis travelled to Antartica for a three month residency with the British Antarctic Survey. This exhibition includes work produced as a result of that journey.
Another new work, Sky Drawing, focuses on vapour trails made by aeroplanes in the sky above the West Midlands, continuing Curtis’s investigation of travel, location and habitat, and how people have documented these experiences through mapping and drawing.
