Children’s University

The Children’s University is an international charity that provides 7 to 14 year olds (and 5 to 6 year olds with their families) with access to exciting and innovative Children’s University learning activities delivered by Learning Destinations, outside of the school day.

The Children’s University celebrates achievement and rewards participation through the award of Children’s University certificates.

Any child, aged 5 to 14 years can become a member and, upon joining, is issued with a Passport To Learning in which to record participation in/visits to CU learning activities and experiences.

We have become a Learning Destination which means that children who visit us and participate in a learning activity will be rewarded with stamps in a Passport To Learning and the following guidelines will help you support them in their visit to us.

Children visiting us with a Passport To Learning will ask a member of staff to record their visit in their Passport.

Children should interact with the activity before a Passport To Learning can be stamped and the number of hours completed recorded.

Not all activities we offer have Learning Destination status, please check which activities do.

You will need to complete the date of attendance and provide a stamp in the right hand column, as well as recording the learning activity detail and participation hours.
