Summer party

Saturday 7 June, 11am-4pm. Free, all welcome.

Celebrate our 25th year! Join us for a fun-filled summer celebration packed with creativity, conversation, and cake.

11am-3pm – Get creative with a family-friendly, drop-in craft activity on the Mezzanine
11am-3pm – Step in to the Artists’ Studio (Floor 1) to meet our current artist in residence, Chantal Pitts
12pm – Discover joy through art! Meet members of the Collections Community Panel and explore a brand new Gallery trail through the Garman Ryan Collection themed around ‘joy’ (Floors 1 & 2)
12.30-3pm – What party is without cake? Head up to Floor 4 for birthday cake and snacks
1-2pm – Meet the curators behind our Earthbound exhibition (Floor 3). Deborah Robinson and Zoë Lippett will be on hand for informal chats and insights
2pm – Join Artist Hannah Maybank, and Collections Curator Julie Brown, for an informal introduction to the Un-Still exhibition. Be first to see Hannah’s new work, Gathering, created especially to mark the Gallery’s 25th anniversary.

There will also be free colouring books and pencils, zines and art books to take home.
