Behind Closed Doors
Inspired by and using the gallery’s collections to their full potential, 20 Art and Design students from Walsall College will curate and present an exhibition about mental health.
Behind Closed Doors will explore issues around depresion, recovery, inner turmoil, intense emotions, highs and lows and will feature photography, painting, prints and sculpture, presented through the point of view of young people today and how they deal with and experience such issues.
Curated by Tristian Ayres, Alice Baugh, Bethan Edmondson, Laura Haycock, Aran Haynes Bradley, Josephine Laing, Lee Markall, Rebecca Maybury, Adam Rattigan, Lee Santomazza, Ryan Smallman, Siobhan Walker and Shardia Wiggan.
